Come with Pedal Bike Tours on a snowshoeing adventure just outside of Portland in the Cascade Mountains around the magnificent Timberline Lodge more than halfway up the tallest mountain in Oregon. Our professional guides will drive you to experience the beauty of the thick forest and deep snow 6000 feet up Mt. Hood. After a beautiful drive up the steep road to Timberline Lodge, gaining 2000 feet in a few miles we’ll outfit you with snowshoes and take you on a guided trek through the silent world of snow, with breathtaking views of the Cascade Mountains and Central Oregon.
Constructed in 1938 during the Great Depression, Timberline lodge is the ideal place for our buffet lunch, featuring locally sourced ingredients deliciously prepared. You’ll dine in style amongst the massive timbers, local stone, gigantic fireplaces and stunning views for dozens of miles. After lunch we’ll bring you safely back to Portland where you can turn back and view Oregon’s tallest mountain and the fun you had there less than 2 hours ago.
Note: We recommend snow friendly clothing (aka - waterproof) and hiking boots for this activity. No cotton outergarments please.
